Thank you for the detailed info. It's much appreciated. I have an appt. this morning at my dealer to have some tiny paint nicks noted on my delivery "We Owe" attended to and will ask their parts folks if they can match the Tasca price.
I do have one concern though.... See https://ford.oemdtc.com/983/rear-of-...016-ford-f-250
That describes doing the opposite modification - raising the previous model F250 rear by replacing the 2" spacer with a 4" spacer. Going in that direction Ford has you replace the shocks and driveshaft too.
I guess if no one has any problems with shocks being beaten up or driveline shudder I should be ok?
Have not had a issue with the driveline or shocks as of yet. But I only have 2800 miles on the truck and 2500 with the lower blocks in. I might add that I have towed a fifth wheel about 1000 of those miles which is about 12-1300 pounds on the hitch and about 7k total. Truck squats about 3/4" and it has never hit the bump stops.

I have 8,000 miles on mine since I swapped the blocks with no issues. I would do it again in a heartbeat. I like the look and how much easier it is to reach in the bed.

Thanks for the reassurance. My local dealer couldn't match the price of the spacers on the Tasca online site, but came close enough that they are now cheaper as I don't have to pay shipping charges.
Can I really get away with not replacing the four U-bolts?
They're about $20 each, so not cheap. However the current ones seem to have only an inch of threaded area above the plate that's under the spring, so wonder if there will be enough threads to secure them with the shorter spacer in there. Thanks!

It's close, but it does work. I debated just cutting them off, but haven't done anything yet.
Mine look the same as mothnuts truck with stock u-bolts. Still some thread left when tightened down. If you can figure out the right size u-bolts it is better to install new ones if you can, but not critical. Thanks guys! As best I've been able to find, the part number for the U-bolts is BC3Z-5705-G
I wonder if the cheapest route might be to get parts off a previous model F250 in a junk yard.
The threads stretch on U-Bolts, Their Rolled on threads. Best to replace. Find a local spring shop. Their not expensive. unless you go to the dealer
