I have a nice set of 305/65R17 (about 33x12) tires on a older truck. I am wondering if they will fit on my '05 F150 if I put one of the 2 inch leveling kits on it?
they should be fine, I have heard of guys running 35's with a 2" kit, 35's real easy with 2.5" level. I'm running 33's on my 06 with a 2.5 level, and it looks like I can clear 35's just fine. My next set of tires will be 35's, so I'll know then.
I had 33x12.50 on my truck stock. They were on Mickey Thompson Classic II rims. 17X9 I think. Dont know all the specs on them but I never had a problem with rubbing while stock. I now have a 3 inch leveling kit with 35 and have minimal rubbing but they are my winter tires on stock fx4 rims.
