Torque Converter

I have a big block c4 on a 351m. I want to swap the transmission to a c6. Can I use the same torque converter from the c4 on the c6 ?

No.

C4 has 11 trans pan bolt holes, C6 has 17.

No 351M installed in an 1977/79 F100/350; 1978/82 Bronco; 1980/82 F150/350 came with a C4. The only A/T available was the C6.

Some 1975/79 Ford/Merc Passenger Cars with a 351M could have a C4, C6 or FMX (14 trans pan bolt holes).

Not sure, but with a good new converter coming in at under $100, I would run a new one. according to transtarcatalog, not interchangeable.

No it will not fit the C6.

Thank you guys for the feedback fairly new to this forum great help ! Appreciate it 👍🏽 I'll be buying the proper converter for the c6 .
