I need some help. I work at a honda dealer but recently got a job to replace a transmission on an 06 e250. I got the old trans out just fine but im having an issue with the mounting bolts for the new one.
I removed 6 bolts to take down the old trans. Im going to put the new one up and notice there looks to be 7 mounting bolt holes on the reman unit I was brought. There's 2 on the right side, 2 up top and then 3 on the left. I know for a fact I didn't remove 7 bolts. I also forget what bolts go where. I have 4 short ones with threads that run pretty much the entire length of the bolt. Then 2 longer bolts with threads that start a little after halfway up the shaft. Im embarassed to admit I can't figure that part out.
I tried googling this information off and on throughout the day but haven't had any luck. Hopefully you guys could help me out. Thanks.
Ok, well obviously. Make sure the transmission is the same as the one removed. There is a 4R75E as well. I am not sure if there are any external differences.
I believe Mark K. can help you out the most of anyone here.
I also love Forged in fire. My only complaint is that it is on the same time as Deadliest Catch, in my neck of the woods at least. I did some commercial fishing back in the day, but there was not any ice within hundreds of miles!

Wthe the heck does this have to do with this thread from last year?
