Hmmn, sure. Yes, electron flow is from negative to positive, but that has nothing to do with how a circuit is designed, or how electrical theory is even taught. Some schools teach electron flow, and some teach hole flow, and there are many, many cars out there, and other electronic devices in the past, which are positive grounded systems. It truly comes down to your point of view. Just like driving on the left or right side of the road. Neither method is better than the other, it's just that us right-siders and electron-flowwers are winning.

Yes, I just made that up, "flowwer", as in one who flows.

Well I changed the batteries. The passenger side like always was really bad. Alternator was good as I thought. Tried Costco Interstate batteries, they wouldn't warranty my old Interstate batteries but that's okay. They only do the ones bought from them. Changed both out, we'll see how long these last. At least 42 month free replacement this time. Last one's were 3 years 11 months. You have to install your own batteries, Costco doesn't do it. Still cheaper then Firestone with there warranty so money a head.

Chet, there was a member recently, that posted alot but nothing for awhile. He got stupid with cables from alternator to batteries, directly... You doing the same thing? I got a bunch of seadoo cabkes(2/4ga) that I may just do the same... See if it helps with longevity

I've read this in the past, but didn't consider it. I did do this to my son's 6.0l, seem to work with his. I bought a set of interstates in Afton, Wyoming years back and they lasted almost seven years. I believe the cca were 950. Couldn't find them down here. That was eleven years ago on those batteries. I think they were rated at 1050.

I'm not "Bashing", Perhaps I should have added this at the end of the paragraph preceding it. And, for that, I apologize if my presentation was incorrect. But, not only is this taught, I actually got paid to teach it periodically to Tech Students prior to getting their Vehicle Electrical Certifications.

Electron flow has everything to do with power generation and charge storage. So long as both the (-) and (+) are getting along. The (+) gets irritated with the conversation between the two and slams the door on its way out. Similar to being Married.

So, let me put this together in one paragraph.

Rechargeable wet lead acid batteries use lead plates, lead oxide plate on positive electrode and an electrolyte solution of dilute sulphuric acid. They store energy in chemical form and it is converted to electricity. Moveing from one to the other is achemical reaction withing the Battery itself. When a load is connected between the positive and negative terminals a chemical reaction causes electricity to flow through the load. Lead oxide changes to lead sulphate in the chemical reaction using sulphuric acid that releases electricity. Increasing amount of lead sulphate and reduced amount of sulphuric acid lead to dropping of current flow and this show the battery is discharged. By applying an external current to the terminals, this chemical reaction is reversed during a process known as charging.. The greater the demand, the more agitated the synergism becomes causing "the mean the little *******s to get even meaner" and follow the easiest path back to the negative plate (complete the circuit". Ideally, the load uses 100% in a perfect world.
