Hi all, I put an SCT Livewire ts tuner on my 06 F-250 Powerstroke and had it custom tuned by a local shop. It was great but it caused a check engine light for under boost and OBD reediness check not complete. I got tired of seeing the light so I flashed it and took the custom tune away. The tuner now displays the SCT selection of normal, towing, performance, etc. In normal mode the truck is fine. However, in all the other modes the truck doesn't shift right. If you get on the throttle it shifts very strange. At each shift point, all the power goes away for about 5 seconds then comes back on. It's almost like I'm driving a stick and clutching in way too long. I'm not sure how to describe it exactly. And the truck still trips a OBD reediness code and turbo performance code.
My questions is, how can I resolve this issue by myself?
I'm not really interested in custom tuning anymore and don't want to spend the money. I'm fine with the preset tunes available on the tuner. The truck is fine except for the shifting issue.
