6.0 work style van problem.
Hey gang, 7.3 guy here. My brother in law is working on a work style van with a 6.0 it's an older model but not exactly sure what year. Randomly but quite often when coming to a stop it will sputter and shut off. At times it seems as if it's skipping while you're accelerating. The only codes we pulled was for the egr.

Yes, I have seen my share of badly carboned up EGR valves cause some driveability symptoms including engine stalling.
