C6 Compatibility Question...
When I pulled My FE 390 off the C6 I found that the case was broken and cracked on the mount bolts where the trans hooks up to the Engine. This being said I need a new C6 and I am trying to find out if there is a compatibility issue with these C6 Transmissions. I have a 1971 F100 Two Wheel Drive longbed and I need to get a trans soon like within this week so I am trying to find out what kind of Trans I need for this truck or what will fit from other years. Thanks in advance for any help with this.
