Just a note while I have Internet. I'm taking the F450 on a 10,000 mile trip from Houston to Anchorage, Alaska, to Tallahassee, Florida, and back to Houston. That's after getting back from a Houston - Connecticut round trip. This truck runs great. Here's us tonight at Lewis and Clark State Park in Washington.
Enjoy the trip and good luck with the truck! After all you've been through with your 6.0(s) you should be able to handle most anything short of a major melt down.

What are you going to be doing up here? Good time to visit Anchorage. If you do have trouble there are a couple of good 6.0 shops around here.
Unfortunately that is one of the big weak points for 03's and 04's. Not the same for 05 and up.
Yessir, that's what I have gathered from my research and discussions with Razzi lately. I just figured I would get more than 10k out of a motorcraft HPOP but guess I was wrong! I'm knocking out a bunch of issues while I am in there. Tearing into her starting tomorrow. Parts are trickling in so I hope I will have all my stuff by Friday.
Sorry to hijack IH's thread, but did you consider an Adrenaline HPOP?
I bought $2500 worth of parts...got the Dieselsite billet HPOP, EGR delete, upgraded HPOP cover, IPR screen and o ring kit, new ICP and pigtail and a bunch of new seal and o ring kits for everything else. Hell I'm even installing the 2004 intake manifold. I'm a Youtube diesel mechanic..,

Do you know how close to me you are now?
Just about 1 Hr 20 minutes. When you reach Tacoma you should stop by
and see my poor disabled truck. In case you did not know it was badly hurt
on the night of the 13th. When I say bad I do mean totaled

This is something I am considering doing myself......

I HATE taking the turbo on and off every time I work on Monster so I went with the 2005 intake that does not have the bridge. Then blew my HPOP and had to take it off anyways!!!!
