Leveling kits

Hi gents, I'm wanting to level a 2017 F250 with 6.2l, and was wondering if all the stuff in the Carli kit was worth the extra cost. ie: brake lines, castor shims, swaybar drop brackets...etc. I was originally going to go with just springs and +2" Bilstein 5100's. Thanks for your help guys.

Up to you if its worth it. Carli makes some of, if not the nicest, lift components on the market. You should know though that they only make kits for Diesels. This doesnt mean they won't fit and work perfectly fine, you'll just get a little more lift out of it and it will ride a little stiffer than on a Diesel.

I bought all the Carli components and got my own shock package. Its really nice stuff and totally worth the money to me. I offroad a lot, if I was more of a mall crawler I would probably just go with a BDS or ReadyLift spacer and some nice shocks.

What are your plans for this truck, you offroading a lot, towing, just daily drivering it?

I do hardly any towing, mostly offroad crawling in the mountains. I just noticed Carli says diesel on their website. I called Kore Offroad, they said their springs are variable rate and will work with the 6.2. She said I'll get 3" of lift as opposed to the 2.5" with the PS. I may go with that kit, Carli swaybar brackets and Readylift track bar relocation and call it good. Not sure if Carli 2" castor shims are necessary or not.....

If you're going to do the KORE you might as well just do the Carli commuter. Its the same story, you'll get 3" instead of 2.5"

I have the readylift track bar bracket, resets the front axle perfectly. I would probably spring for the caster shims, especially since you'll be getting 3" instead of 2.5". You can also just bring it to a local shop and they will probably install adjustable shims so they can fine tune it. You might need more/less than 2 degree shims.

I did, it was really simple to be honest. Nothing easier than solid front axle lifts.

Make sure you have some big jacks, put them behind the radius arms. If you have two lift jacks it makes it much easier to lift the front and do both sides at the same time.

There's really no tricks to it, it's pretty straight forward. Send me a message if you get stuck on anything!

You'll want the caster shims and the track bar bracket. At 3 inches you'll probably need a drop pittman arm as well. I have a 2 inch lift and Im on the edge with no drop pittman.

Yes....absolutely get the caster shims. The Carli ones are installed with the open notch facing the rear of the truck. Had to call Radio at carli to confirm this. The Carli ones are hexagonal and can go in multiple ways, unlike the oem ones that only go in 1 way. I used a reverse pulling tool to remove the oem caster shims that I picked up from auto zone. You'll also need some large mechanic tools like a breaker bar and 1-1/4 and 1-1/8 sockets to remove the trac bar.

Here's a pic of the tool I used.
