First Check Engine Light
Hey guys,
Truck is going in for its first check engine light. 2015 F250 Truck has 24,500 miles on it. Came on the other day with codes P0390 and P0394, both indicating camshaft position sensor. Cleared it the first time, but came back on within five starts or so. See what the dealership has to say as it is still under powertrain warranty. Need to get it fixed, trucks going to be used for its first out of state pull. Bringing my boat into Pennsylvania at the end of August.

according to Ford 2015 warranty booklet (on-line)
3 year or 36,000 miles bumper to bumper
drive train is 5 year or 50,000 miles..
also the camshaft sensor is an emission control device and is also covered under the Electronic Engine Control Sensors and Switches
are covered by both the Emissions Defect Warranty and the Emissions
Performance Warranty.
