Warranty question...
I'm wanting to purchase an extended service plan but don't know if I should wait until the 12 month/12k mile comprehensive is close to expiring. I'm looking to get the Ford Premium Care that is 5yr/60k mile. This warranty starts at the time you purchase it and not from the time the vehicle was put into service.
Any thoughts?
Thanks
Dave
Very nice looking truck! The original warranty that came with your truck covers the engine for 5 years or 100K. You can get a Carfax on your truck from any Ford dealer or on this site. It shows the date your truck was put in service. The clock starts from there.
I think if you purchase the 5yr/60K warranty you mentioned, check and be sure it covers the engine after your original warranty expires.
Good luck,
Since its a CPO it getse an additional 12 month/12k miles bumper to bumper (from the time the truck was certified) (PremiumCare) plus an additional 2 years on the engine warranty.
I've decided to wait until the 12 month/12k is almost expired till I purchase another ESP.
Thanks,
Dave
