Daytime running lights?

What are others of you doing for daytime running lights on older Rangers?

Naturally I know I can turn on the headlights but what I'm looking for are installation testimonies or suggestions for LED strips - that don't cost an arm and a leg to buy and install.

I turn on my Fog lights for DRL's when needed. That also turns on the side markers & the parking lights, so I'm visible all around.
Check your local & State laws for what you can add.
