daytime running lights
you guys sure seem to know alot and i am sure there is someone in here that can help.
my wife drives a 99 grand am GT and i was wondering if any knows how you can disable the daytime running lights?

Sure, cut the wires and wire in a switch. Why bother? Is she one of those who doesn't turn on the regular lights when it gets dark and runs around at night with the DRL and no tail lights? Or does yours have the automatics?

it has the automatic control to turn on when dark.
i want to shut off the Daytime running lights because i want to put a brighter higher wattage bulb in it and dont want the lights on all the time.

You might want to ckeck to see if the running lights are considered to be safety equipment.If they are,don`t mess with them,unless of course you want to be ticketed for disableing safety equipment.
