Daytime Running Lights

For all you guys that have drove a 2017 or are in the know. On the led headlights, when the day running lights are on, is it just the outer led strips lit up or do the low beams come on also. Im sure with the parking lights on, only the strip lights are on, along with the tailights, but i was wondering about the auto daytime lights.

I think it is the LED strip only, I could be wrong. I will find out for sure on the 8th at the BFT Round-Up

ok thanks. I know on the f150s, the parking lights will cause just the amber led strips light up by themselves, but the auto driving lights runs the low beam headlights too. I think i read that on the f150 that if you have the parking lights on, as soon as you put it in drive, they go off and the driving lights come on, but im not sure.

They are configurable to some extent. I've seen pictures with the strip lights and low beams on together, as well as just the low beams only, or just the strip lights. You may be able to choose in the settings menu. I'm guessing the operation is similar to the new F150. On ours the DRL lights switch on when the vehicle is put in Drive and off when in park...but it is only an XLT.
