And in the US 08 is Forester Green M-25J-322-SE

There's no listing in the 1948/56 Ford Truck Parts Catalog (US) of any color code from 1951 thru 1956 that uses numbers.

Only a single letter is used, except for SS that was used 1951/55 for special order paint.

There's no green listed w/a M-25-J-322-SE part number.

There are two greens listed for 1956 US trucks:

Color code G = Meadow Mist Green ~ M2J-527

Color code U = Meadow Green ~ M-14283.

Ya suspect it it would not be listed in the Ford Trucks Parts Catalogue as the Canadian Collision Catalogue Covers
Ford, Thunderbird, Meteor, Mercury,Monarch, Ford and Mercury Trucks,
08 Forester Green M-25J-322-SE is listed as a colour for the U.S. for Mercury and not Ford in 1955.
From other resources I looked at It appears it was a one year only colour but don't quote me on that.

1946/68 Ford/Merc trucks assembled in Canada were only sold new in Canada.

The only Merc trucks in the US were used.

So, the only Merc trucks in the US were brought here used.

Mercury Division ND, it was a Mercury Division colour in the U.S.

Nothing was said about it being on Mercury sold trucks in the US of which there were none of to begin with.

I know it can be confusing to Americans but in the era in Ford Canada had the following divisions,
Ford, Meteor, Mercury,Monarch,Lincoln and Thunderbird was treated as it's own entity-sort of.

I've been in the old car hobby since 1956, so I'm sorta familiar with the Canadian Meteor and Monarch.

There was a Canadian market Pontiac car called the Parisian. I think it used the Chevy body.

For many years, Dodge trucks sold in Canada were called Fargo's.

Ya Canada had the Strato-Chief, Laurentian and the top trim Parisienne all on the Chevy 115" WB and using Chevy Engines.

Fargo was Plymouth's truck division here in Canada.
Dodge trucks were sold at Dodge dealer's and Fargo trucks were sold at Plymouth dealers.

Dodge trucks were originally manufactured by the Graham Brothers. The Graham Brothers wanted to get into the car biz.

When Walter P. Chrysler bought the Graham truck business. The Graham Brothers took the money, bought Paige, then became Graham-Paige.

Paige was soon dropped, Graham soldered on thru the depression, another independent teetering on the brink of bankruptcy.

The last Graham was the 1941 supercharged Hollywood, using the body dies of the 1936/37 Cord FWD Beverly 4 door sedan.
