Welcome to THE Forum, Steve. Be sure to read the stickie notes "Read this First" at the top of the forum page. It has a boat load of info, that some of the members have spent a considerable amount of time compiling for all of us. After 5 posts you should be able to post pictures of your truck. What are your plans for your truck? Restore, off road, race set-up?

I love driving basic vehicles. Ones that I can feel in the seat of my pants, ones that you can tell are running well or not, ones that will give me feed back on how well I'm driving (or not). Trucks that I can usually work on if things go wrong. Trucks that take me back to another time in my life. This 1972 was new when I was 18 years old.
The truck is all original except for the wheels, I believe it's what some call a hi-boy. The body is well preserved considering it's age, had a camper on it most of it's life and the bed and tailgate are in excellent shape. Dash pad is severely sun rotted seat springs are poor interior looks it's age. Runs very well, again considering it's age. I plan to preserve the body of the truck in it's current state / patina. get the interior back to as new condition, get it mechanically better than new while preserving +90% of it as built . I don't want it to turn heads for anyone other than those who can appreceiate it for what it is, like the member of this forum.
I have a 69 f600 with a 330 and no power stearing. I found a parts truck with power and i am wondering if someone can tell me if it will work the vin# is F61ECT07815 thanks
New to the group. Looked around a bit and didn't see a DIY VIN decoder ring so I'll ask - can anyone help with my VIN - F11YRM40188 ?
Thanks!,

I can't really afford to get a marti report for the truck I think I am getting right now but I am kinda curious about the truck I am pretty sure that is a 69 Ford f250 ranger trim truck and the guy told me that is a 390 truck so I figured it was like every 360 truck but there's no y in vin?! Here if anyone wants to help show me what it is I am checking into?! F25HLF14153 131NB F250 4481 GC7 07500 185 4000 47
Thank you centennial f100 I got it figured out for the most part shockingly it is actually supposed to be a vin h 390, probably because it is a ranger and a f250 camper special truck but I actually figured someone just added those too apparently not,,
