Where are you located Mod? I was planning on heading out to Syracuse until I screwed up the paint and interior on my truck earlier in the week. In the process of re-doing stuff that was already done.
I like that hauler!

It is the yellow 53 in the pics. We just bought it a few weeks ago but it ran great. Replaced a cracked thermostat housing, adjusted loose steering, cleaned fuel bowl and took the leap and drove it 5 hours there.Only issue Is oil pressure started out at 40 most of the way there but on way home it seemed to settle at 25 or so hope nothing major

Hi Mod22. Wow, we talked on Sat. afternoon. Never thought to ask if you were a FTE person. any way I was the guy that is building a '53, wife has a horse and about 3 years ago someone we new pasted away and kind of charged how we look at life.
Anyway guys they are a great couple. Fun to talk to them for 20 min or so.

I don't have any pics of it but it was part of a group of 6 competing for the Wynfield prize. All 6 were over the top radical. This one is owned by Terry Altman of Russellville AR. The write up says he did everything including the interior and painting himself. Everything is hand fabricated including the removable roof to inner fender supports to full leather interior. Motor is a 460 stroked to 509.

This was the first time I have been to this show. If you have a chance to go take it. I was there for 3 days. Friday with my brother getting the lay of the land and having a few drinks. Sat was looking at cars all day, well the ones that interested me most, can't see them all. And Sun was talking to vendors and looking at flea market stuff. Busy for sure.

Hey Marten it was great talking to you. wish i would have seen your truck, like you said hard to see them all. Saw a guy wearing an Ford truck enthusiasts shirt at dinner and talked to him for awhile too. Nice to put faces to computer names.
