Brakes pulling to left

At my wits end on this. Left front brake is pulling ever so slightly on my '02 RWD Sport Trac. Just enough to annoy the crap out of me. Sometimes I hardly notice it. Over the past year or so I've flushed and bled the lines after replacing rear wheel cylinders, rebuilt the front calipers and replaced the rotors and pads. It's still pulling. Is there some electronic adjustment for the module that the brake lines come out of? Does the ECM control the pressures? Any insight would be appreciated.

How's your alignment and the overall health of the steering, suspension and the wheel bearings? Any looseness or soft/cracked bushings, etc.? How about tires and tire pressure?

Sorry, left out some details. New tires and an alignment at the end of last summer along with an upper control arm. Pulled before and after.

One thing I don't see in your list of replaced parts is brake hoses. If you have a brake hose that is kinked or restricted, it could cause a pull condition. If the vehicle pulls to the left, the restriction could be in the right brake hose or caliper slides, leaving the left caliper to be more effective and seem like it's causing the pull.

Have you inspected the brake pad wear at all four wheels to see if the wear is even at each caliper as well as from side to side? If you find one that is wearing at a slower rate than the others, there is likely an issue at that brake assembly.

It's RWD so the rear are drum. The left front wheel always has more brake dust on it. Good point on the brake line. I know there are no kinks in the hose but maybe there's an issue with the steel line. I'll have to inspect.

Also keep in mind that brake hoses can deteriorate from the inside, so even if there are no kinks visible, it could still be collapsed or restricted internally.

I wasn't aware that RWD version did not get rear disc brakes. Interesting. Have you confirmed then that the parking brake cables are working freely and that the self adjusters are applying similar drag both left and right on the drum brakes?
