I hope I am not posting this twice. Today I adjusted the TPS and it didn't stall out our go into a stall. My truck hasn't thrown any codes but never has had much power. 1997 OBS bone stock except for 4" from the turbo back. NAPA tractor air filter. It is a good truck just a dog. I took off my 35"'s because it didn't like this. I put on 285/75/16 and really helped. 238,000 miles, no leaks at all. My father in law has a 1996 OBS and his will run off and leave me. I had to have my sister in law pull our living quarter trailer home and I pulled the lighter one! How embarrassing when her 2x4 dodge ran off and left me? Any ideas?
A little more info is needed. Start with the simple things. When was the fuel filter changed? What is the fuel pressure? How many miles on the motor oil? All these things can effect the power output. Still the original injectors? Does the motor have any unusual noises/shakes?
^^^^ what Tom said is a good start to help sort it out. You may also consider doing a search for "boost leak detector". Which will help make sure you are building boost correctly.
