1995 Ford F150 5.8L 4x4 EB 389,000 Mile's. Owner since 2001. Religious maintenance schedule I do myself. Literally over night started shifting hard into reverse. Trans fluid/filter resent service. Fluid level good. U joints good. Trans mount good. Differential good. Engine RPM good. No codes. Had the miss's put the truck in reverse while I laid underneath and watched... MLPS - linkage - shifts into reverse, watch the slip yoke movement and it's almost as if the trans is searching then BAMM, into reverse. Any thoughts???

Reason: Adding more information
Sorry to say this but you mentioned "Trans fluid/filter resent service". There is a current thread on the topic of transmission filters. They are known to drop which causes a hard reverse shift and/or engine stalling.
The simple test is to drop the pan then inspect the filter to see if it has become dislodged or completely dropped into the pan. There is a filter clip available to prevent this from happening.
