I have a ceiling fan in the shop too, use it in the winter too, helps keep the heat closer to the floor..

When we moved in there were crappy fans in each of the bedrooms. when I changed them I put the better ones in the garage.

Those work good. When I was a kid my folks had a couple, they were black and gold in color.

The fans do help keep the air distributed evenly

Yeah I use that one in the bathroom cause there is no AC in there...LOL
