FWIW I have the spray in liner and a rubber mat on top of that. The rough finish of the liner holds the mat in place. I use the floor mats that restaurants use in the kitchens. About 1' thick with 1' holes so whatever water gets past my cover dries up easily. Got the mats for free as they were used and being replaced. I cut them to size for a nice wall to wall, around the wheel wells and front to back fit. I even have my aux tank sitting on top of one.
