Bed Liners/Coatings

Skip all the drop-in plastic liners. Spray-in is the way to go.
Line-X and Rhino are both great. I've had each.
Line-X is a little harder and lower COF. You cannot dig a fingernail into it, and things will slide around a little easier. Also stains with oil less IMO.
Rhino is softer, and you can almost dig a fingernail into it. Stuff stays put better, but a shovel nose is more likely to cut it.
I have Rhino right now. I will go back to Line-X if there is a next time. But it depends on how you use YOUR truck.

After years of drop-ins, I went with a Line-X in this truck and couldn't be happier. I seem to have found a pretty good combination for my uses. I've got the Line-X, a BedRug bedmat, and the OEM bed extender.
The mat keeps stuff from sliding all over the place while the bed extender can be used inside the bed also. When I've got it in place inside the bed, it keeps stuff from rolling to the front of the bed and keeps it within easy reach from the tailgate.

I've used both Line-X and Rhino over the years, and like they said- it depends on what you use it for. On my last Jeep CJ7, I didn't use a back seat, instead using the area for camping cargo- I used Line-X in that area and Rhino up front. I've had a few trucks where I pulled out the carpet/padding/mat/whathaveyou, and had it Rhino Lined. Rhino is a great interior floor if you don't want carpet.
Has anyone ever used Durabak coating?

I've had both Rhino and Line-X and for what it's worth, I prefer Line-X. One thing that hasn't really been mentioned in the previous posts is that the Line-X seems to retain its color better than Rhino. My Rhino faded to gray in just over a year, whereas the Line-X is looking new after four years. Whichever one you choose to go with, be sure the installer removes the bed mounting bolts before they spray it in. If you ever have to remove the bed, you will be much happier!

Nothing wrong with that at all. I used drop-ins for many years and this is my first spray-in. Time will tell but so far I'm very satisfied. Hey brother, you do what you can with what you've got.....not a thing wrong with that at all.
