I know I've seen this discussed but I did a search and couldn't find it. When I disconnect my trailer it still shows miles being applied to trailer. Everything else in the dash says no trailer connected. I deleted the trailer to stop it. Is this what you have to do every time you disconnect the trailer then reconfigure it again? For the life of me I could not find an option to just stop the miles being applied to the trailer. Hope I'm just missing something and someone can steer me in the right direction.
Do you have a adaptor still plugged into the truck? No trailer connected means that you have a trailer selected and it's not sensing a trailer connected. Do not delete trailer unless your no longer have that trailer. Go to the trailer selection and select trailer, then NO ACTIVE TRAILER. This will turn it off but you have to be stopped to do this you cannot be driving.
Go into your trailer screen, select "trailer set up", then select "No Active Trailer". I have to do this every time I unhitch. "No Active Trailer" is the only trailer in the list if you have not set up any trailers, just FYI.
