That's kind of what I was thinking. I have the seats removed and it just does not fit through the door. I'm thinking I'll cut it in half, save it for a template to create a new board since this ones warped a little anyways and glue the fabric to the new one that I'll also have cut in half... to be able to fit it in the cab and do all the glueing in the cab
headliner off of one of the super cabs that was in perfect condition but the seat was removed from the donor vehicle before I got it there's at the junkyard and the headliner all you have to do is basically just very carefully just not roll it but just curl the edges just enough to clear the door opening and an angle came fully out not a problem and it's in perfect condition
I have a 75 supercab. You can get the headliner out in one piece, without removing the seat. Be patient, have the seat all the way back and don't be afraid to bend the headliner a little bit. If it breaks, then it really is past its useful age. If the backing is too far gone, I recommend going to the yards and picking up a 90s bullnose supercab headliner. The backing on these is fantastic! If you find a crew cab, even better. If needed, drill any holes needed for mounting lights, etc into the backing material before installing material. Use awl or pick on material to get screw started.
