Gittinwidit, there is 5 tracks in eastern NC that are still running. Haw hill down in winnabo they only run 2 times a year now. Jump and run in Hubert races once a month, Little Doo in Newport they race every other week. There is e places up towards VA called Morgan's corner proving grounds, and Dennis Anderson's place.
Then there is Lee county bit they've only had like 3 races this year, and according to Dayrl this is his last year racing Scooby doo. Not sure what is gonna happen with the pit if they are gonna keep racing or not. There is also a couple tracks in the western parts of the state, I don't know anything about them though.
As far as camping at white oak shores... sure it's a nice place but since I know the owner and who/what he is I wouldn't stay there if it was the last place in the world to stay. He isn't well liked around Stella, I'll leave it at that...

Not sure if anyone would be interested or not.... but there is a race in Bennetsville SC on Sep 16. It's a big pay out race, and they're having a full size chevy shootout aswell. As of right now I plan to be there.

I'll keep you updated... We've been gettimg hammered with rain all week, and have for several nice showers this morning so it may of been for the best that it was postponed

Well, Saturday we had a pretty nice day here in Fuquay. Marty and I sat out and baby sat the smoker most of the day, on into the evening, since I slept in for once. We did end up with some delicious pork once it was all said and done. Though it felt like we were fighting that smoker all day.
