I watched a couple of times and didn't catch anything real odd going on except max boost looked like 21psi. 27 or 28 would be better. I'm not sure but that could have been because the coolant was still in the 120° range. I usuially don't romp on one hard until it's fully warmed up. 185ish. EBP spiked up there pretty good but I don't think that's unusual. I really only watch that KOEO and idle. I thought I saw 160 and it's labeled PSI so that seems like a lot.
I'll go out again tomorrow and let it warm up first. It does have an egr delete and is supposedly bullet proofed. The seller also said he did something with the turbo. Something like replacing the back half with a power max or precision something. It's nice and shiny on one half either way.
My 03 X is egr deleted with no valve plugged in. I've been told that like this if any codes are ever erased it loses the vgt strategies and then will not exercise the vgt when it should. This could lead to a sticky unison ring causing low boost.
The fix is install or at least plug in an egr valve and then get I the strategies relearned. Mine typically makes 22 to 23 rarely 25lbs. I also have a stock turbo in good condition.

Without the EGR valve plugged in, your cooling fan operation gets affected, not the turbo strategy.

I personally believe you are incorrect on both matters. Anthony at super duty service says he's never seen a fan issue from no egr valve. Ihaven't seen any fan performance decrease without the egr. As well I also watched my truck on the IDS not be able to acquire the vgt strategie because it couldn't pass the egr test. He said that is very common and always recommends the actual egr valve be installed.
