turbo vanes

How can you tell if you have turbo vanes that are sticking ?

I have never had it happen yet(fingers crossed). But from what I have been readin on here, typical symptoms are: low power, low boost, high boost. Why do you think the vanes are sticking?

No, I don't think that they are, but it always good to know the symptoms, My truck does make a strange noise at about 1400 rpm, but as soon as I hear it it is gone again. I'll just keep an eye on that.
