No spark no start problem

recently I was driving along a road and the engine just died, it didn't stutter, but it was like someone turned off the key. I have tried the spark test with a plug and touching it to the block, also the distributor turns, replaced ignition coil and ignition module. Still no luck. Also every once in a while the fuel pump will run twice after the turning the key, but no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

the first thing i would do, because it's so simple and costs nothing, would be to pull codes. hope this link works ...Fuel Injection Technical Library. scroll down to "how to run a self-test".
since your engine isn't starting you cant run this test properly, but it may provide some clues.

From pulling codes, the only ones I received were 111 and 11. In the memory, 542 was stored, a fuel pump circuit failure. Not sure how that would relate to my no spark issues but I'm open to anything at this point.

Also, when turning the key, the odometer will flash, then I can hear a clicking noise and it flashes once more. I can provide videos if you wish.

you should not be getting a mix of 2 and 3 digit codes. that, and the erratic behavious of the fuel pump(s?) and odometer, has me thinking the computer is done.

The computer has nothing to do with the odometer.
Sounds like maybe a bad Ignition Switch.
Check for power at the Ignition coil + side with the key in the run position.
The Neg side of the coil may or may not have power with the key in the run position.

Ended up being the pip sensor in the distributor, found this when I jumped the positive terminal and the top wire in the ignition module harness to test the ignition module. Engine started right up. The other stuff has been corrected too after charging the battery up.
Thank you for your help
