89 F150 XLT 5.0 - Fuel issues- reservoir- dual tanks

Hello all;

Well, replaced the fuel filter, front tank, pump/sending unit assy, and the cursed fuel reservoir. Gassed up the rear tank last night, running on front tank. Checked rear tank level this afternoon after a road trip (160 miles) and the rear tank is near "E". What did I miss?

UGH!

TIA!

What is the level in the front tank? What is the actual level in the rear tank, is it still full and the sender is not functioning, or is it accurate? The senders in my '88 have never worked well, unless close to empty, so I rely on the trip meter to keep track of fuel level. You may have mixed up the fuel lines at the DFR, or the valves inside are sticking.
