Seems Ford is having a tough time working with aluminum, getting excellent shapes and fits.
If that were the case wouldn't everyone have the same problem? All the doors line up perfectly on my truck. I think all of the F-250's come out of the Kentucky Assembly Plant.
I have the same problem, my drivers door protrudes at the rear bottom edge about 3/16". The Kentucky plant has a bunch called the "Rubber hammer squad". These guys are assigned this sort of work. I have a friend who has watched them work their magic and he says that they're really good. Apparently they may be overwhelmed with this new aluminum body.

Maybe it's new in Cain-Tuck, but this is the 3rd year for the Aluminum Cab.
The 2015 - Present F 150 and the 2017 Super Duty share the same Cab.
I think they're just making so many, the demand is so high, that they're letting things get by them that normally wouldn't.
The F- Series P/U is mostly what's keeping Ford afloat these days. It's one of the VERY few models they've got going for them. They've never seen demand for the Super Duty like this year. It's off the charts.
Why not? It's an excellent Truck.
And, along with the other manufacturers, they're trying to wean the Public off of incentives, bonuses and rebates. Generic Motors (who cheated the American People out of over 20 BILLION Dollars) is quite proud of the fact that they're getting away with selling their vehicles at a much higher profit.
Fiat, who, in league with the UAW, literally STOLE an entire Automobile Manufacturer, is also cutting way back on their deals.
Which is why I'm waiting for the 2018 -- Or for them to get a little more reasonable with the 2017.
Ever wonder why Ford is making so many Lariats, KR's, Platinums etc?? It's because that's where their big Profits are.
I don't hold it against them. Good on them. It's about time they could make some profit.
But when it comes to spending my money...... I'm looking out for me and my family.
They'll come around. They'll start back with the quality and the more reasonable pricing.
They always do. Peaks and Valleys. That's the way life is.
When I ordered my King Ranch Ultimate with a MSRP of over $80,000 (still can't believe that) my dealer, who has over 20 XLTs and Lariats on the lot, told me that if I wanted to back out on my order at any time he'd be happy with me as he could sell it quickly. He said that the high end trucks are sold before they arrive to the dealership leaving him only XL, XLT, and base lariats for display.
When my truck arrived, he asked me if he could put it on the lot for a day or two as bait to draw customers. When I declined, he said I don't blame you, I wouldn't either, but I had to ask.

Ford is concentrating on its high profit vehicles. Can't say that I blame them.
Down here, at the Dealer I'll be using, he has 227 Super Dutys in Stock but only 23 of them are the XLT. My preferred package.
(He has 509 F-150s in stock..... Most of them are the high-end packages)
