Exclamation muffler recommendations...

freshly built (not yet fired) 5.8
dual exhaust / headers

want something deep & throaty but not annoying or obnoxious.

cheap(er) the better.

whachu got? thanks.

What's it going on? I personally don't like flowmaster, magnaflo, or dynomax. I've had all three rot out on the same truck in a matter of 6 years. Probably going to try Pypes next.

Take a look at Spintech mufflers. I use two of their small racing mufflers. They sound great, won't rust of blow out, and give good exhaust flow. Not necessarily cheap, but you get what you pay for.

I have flowtech raptors $30 a pop true duals with headers behind a 302. I get a lot of compliments on the sound. No cab drone and sounds very good when revved.

thanks for this...

took your recommendation, and so far (just idling in chassis) they sound great! can't wait until truck is actually on the road hopefully later this fall.

Glad you like them you should enjoy them when the motor revs under load. Post a pic of your ride. Here's mine.

I have a single 3" Flowmaster 70 series on mine. It has a nice deep tone, no interior drone whatsoever.
