I have 700 $ to burn, i might try this. I have so much i wanna spend money on lol. I might get those I6 dual exhaust headers, and just run another flowmaster tho lol.
I listened to some of the sound clips they had, and I kinda like the sound they make, it almost sounds like its thumping or something idk, you should listen to them.
i wasnt impressed with any of the sounds. Im not looking for super agressive sound. But it must be distinct, and clear, not just a low rumble as they sound to me...
When I first went to that website, I thought it was one of those ricer mufflers, lol. They do sounds pretty good though, not sure if it's totally worth the money.

When I was looking at their description I got the impression there was some sort of fan in there, because they were talking about it actually taking the exhaust away from the engine. Borla is good if you want a quiet performance sound, they aren't too agressive, I like the Flow's 40 series, w/o cats. Sounds good to me, I also like the sound of dynomax bullets on a V6 or V8, they both sound very good.
I have one on my 97 f-150 4X4 4.6L. At first when I put it on it was alot quieter than I thought it would be. Thought it sounded a little "tinny" The sound seemed to deepen up as time went on. I didn't reset the computer when I installed it. It's not quite as deep as some of the flowmasters. Atleast at idle. When I had tires put on my truck, the tire guy took it for a spin. He gassed it as he drove off. Sounded pretty good from outside the truck. I couldn't tell any differance in MPG or power. Maybe becuase I didn't reset the computer when I installed it. I bought it slightly used. He sold it becuase of the drone noise from inside the cab. I haven't had that problem with it. Sounds mellows out at highway speeds. He did tell me that he noticed that his truck didn't have quite the power when he took off the Areo Turbine and replaced it with the stock muffler. I think they are slightly over priced at $200.
Well, the focus of the muffler is fuel savings ability. So, I'm mostly wondering if it works for that reason. Having a cool sounding truck varies in importance among us though. Thanks for the post, Tony from Kansas. How long have you had it on?

They don't have a fan, but use priciples of gas expansion and gas velocity. Click on the 'how does it work' link to get a brief description.
I've had it on maybe 3 to 4 months. It was hard to tell if I had any better performance & MPGs mainly becuase I had installed e-fans shortly before I installed the muffler. I would like to hear what duals would sound like with this muffler.
I was wondering if anyone really noticed the difference in power between there stock exhaust? When i got my exhuast installed( flowmaster something or another with single in, and 2 out, mild sound,) on my 300-6, It went from stock to a flowmaster and dual exhaust out the back with massive 2 foot long chromers. At the time of installation, i had been driving for about 2 years, but only driving under a license (which allowed me to use full potential) for about 4 to 6 months. I really had no clue where the RPM range on my truck was, becuase the engine itself has a slight vibration at 2500 to 2700 rpms, which i thought was near my redline ( i didnt know the RPM til later when i got a tach, which incidentally is gone again). But as i pushed my truck, i realized that if you went past it, the vibration went away. So i had never used full potential before installation. I thinking im going to dual out headers, and a street legal high flow exhaust system, and then 2 race readies, electronic, dumping their gasses into a 3 inch tube that will power a turbo. The exhaust off the turbo will then meet another race ready. The ready in a closed position will meet a Y-pipe which will dump the exhaust system after the cats, but before the mufflers, and the ready in an open position will dump the gas right after the turbo, allowing for that lovely jet engine sound.... The whole system will add about 60 pounds plus whatever the turbo and turbo accesories wiegh. I thought of this idea before i saw STS, but now that i know its possible, i will definately do it. And on a camaro, 5 pounds of boost will add 69 percent power with the optional inline intercooler. It seems that if i run my desired 10 to 12 ( only for drag applications, 5 for street) should put me near 300 HP. The whole point of this post is to just ask people if they think this idea will work, and if it sounds like a good idea. The reason for the last race ready is the ability to cut the turbo out of the loop in case it gets to warm, but from what ive read is that its not a problem whn the turbo is mounted out of the engine compartment.
