I have a 2015 BASIC f-250 6.7 diesel, and by basic I mean no carpet, crank windows and no cruise control. A GREAT truck that was purchased to pull our 10k lb travel trailer. Here is the problem, I NEED TO INSTALL CRUISE CONTROL!! So my question, to y'all experts is; what equipment EXACTLY do I need to install to the truck?? I have read things from nothing more than just adding the controller to the steering wheel and flash the computer, all the way to take off the transmission to install a servo to the throttle cable. I would assume the truck would need some sort of servo/control lever installed, but then I wonder if the speed control is done internal to the computer. I need help, thanks for your time!!!!
Thanks for the quick reply y'all... Now, will/is this the proper part? http://m.ebay.com/itm/11-thru-16-Super-Duty-F250-F350-F450-F550-OEM-Genuine-Ford-Cruise-Control-Kit-/181196631754?fits=Model%3AF-250+Super+Duty&hash=item2a30292eca%3Ag%3ASwsAAOxy1 NxSC9Px&_trkparms=pageci%253A6dc19d60-49db-11e7-8581-74dbd1801d5e%257Cparentrq%253A77d7b62b15c0a861a5e4 2f44fffc982d%257Ciid%253A2
then once I purchase the part, will my dealer know how to flash the computer? One would hope right?!? Thanks again!!
That is the correct switch (Motorcraft SW-6769) if you have the basic instrument cluster without the center display. It is not the correct switch if your current switch has left and right arrows on it. There are cheaper prices for the switch you have in your link with free shipping.

They should, if not follow my items listed on #2. You might as well have them turn on the % dpf full screen while they are there. Programmable parameters, personality, OCR "operator commanded regen" It takes 5 min tops per change. So 10min total for both changes in the computer, they'll probably try to charge you for 30min-1hr though.

appreciate the information, but what does turning on "% DPF full screen" get me? What will that cause the truck to do/not do?
