Clearance lights

I remember seeing a few people post about having them installed at the dealer for about 125-150 was this at the body shop or in the mechanic shop?

Either can do it but I suspect most are done by the body shop. There are write-ups of the owner installing them himself. Search for it.

That seems a little cheap for any shop to do. I read the write ups and it looks like it takes several hours to put them in correctly.

Bruce's write up is spot on. I've done the install a few times on Fords and on my Fiat. No way I'd do the install for $125 to $150.

When I bought my truck the dealer said if you want clearance lights get a truck that already has it on. They had someone else have them add it on after purchase and I think they said it was 700.00 just to install the lights.

The quote I received from dealer where I purchased was 650, this included the lights so roughly speaking 500 for the install. I elected to do myself, Bruce's write up was fantastic, template was even better. I recall someone stating 300-350, at that price I would have dealer or body shop install

I did a series of videos on my install a few years ago when I added them to my 2011 F250. Not hard. My sayings are "Measure twice drill once" and "After your first hole, you're committed"....so get to drilling!

Could you please add links to your videos in my original thread? Anything to help the next person taking on this project.
