Your right. But unfortunately I just rebuilt it a month or so ago due to a bad front seal that caused a mild-ish runaway. But it wasn't till a few days ago I figured out where the fuel was coming from. I knew when I rebuilt it that I had fuel in the oil but didn't know how bad it was.
I'm not sure if I want to even try to replace the seals or just let the truck sit longer until I can buy a new turbo.

Randy (WatsonR) did a Barder 2.0 IIRC, I think he's happy with it........I'm sure he will chime in
Love my Barder 2.0. Truck has almost instant throttle, no smoke despite running the SLR Extreme Race tune combined with an Atlas 40. He built the turbo and shipped next day after I ordered.
Now if I can just get the fuel leak to stop. Did you replace the internal o-ring's on all the injectors or just that one leaking? Would it have leaked without the oil rail removed and been easily seen or did the rail come off so you could see? Was it easy to tell is was coming from the body of the injector and not the upper external o-ring?
I replaced the O-ring on all 8. I didn't want to have another one in a few weeks start leaking. When I went to remove the old orings they broke. They were pretty flat too. All but 2 of mine are original I think. I know I replaced #1 about 3 years ago. My truck has 295k miles on it so if they are original injectors then I'm sure it was time.
Are you running stock injectors with your Barder 2.0?
Unfortunately, it is fairly common to have turbo problems after excessive fuel dilution of the oil. Barder or KC Turbo are both good choices.
And why I replaced mine. I was confident it was hurt, somewhat, by the fuel delution.
I'm running stock injectors, they have ??? miles on them. When I bought the truck, it had 97k and was told they were new. After I noticed it making oil, resealing them showed that not to be true and one of them wasn't even a Ford injector. As I said before, I did the external o-rings and nipple cups and thought my issue was resolved.... getting ready for a second oil change since I resealed them, it's back. Check the oil level pretty regular and the last 1000 miles has shown the level has come up a bunch and don't want to hurt the new turbo.
I'm going to order 8 new seal kits again so they are waiting on me when I get back to the states, at least I'm prepared with parts on hand to pull injectors. Only down side is, I have a week to figure it out before I have a trip that requires the truck. If I can't readily determine where the leak is, all 8 injectors will be replaced.
Pete just checked all 8 about 2 months ago with IDS for contribution and they were working great and I really don't want to buy 8 new injectors for potentially $8.00 worth of o-rings!

Interesting......I can't recall a single thread since I joined the forum that talked about this issue.
Check out McMaster Carr website. I use them all the time at the plant because you can find anything you need. I found a viton Oring that meets the measurement of the one I used. You can get a pack of 50 for $6.27.
Search their website for part number (9464k72)
Of course you can get a different material better/stronger but price goes up. I found one that was $35 each. Lol for one oring.
Iv been eyeballing the Barder stg2 for a while now. Just couldn't afford it and couldn't justify forking out $1800 for it.

$35 for one O-ring must of been mil-spec out of the government supply locker.

Going from stock to the Barder was like turning the light on in a dark room! I won't go back to a stock turbo but will keep one for a spare. Bolt on and took me an hour to swap. I will say that you need tunes to make it work, no doubt about that. My EGTs are nearly the same as before, maybe 50* higher while cruising @75mph. If you do buy one, get an EGT gauge, mines an Auber digital, $110 with probe.
I'm going to do a little pulling to see how it does, but my impression... wished I'd have done this before now. But as you said, $1800 is a big cost and one I wasn't going to buy just because. But since the fuel issue made me suspect a turbo issue, made sense to make an improvement if at all possible. I'll confirm.... it's a nice improvement, truck doesn't smoke on hard throttle and if not careful, you'll be buying a lot of tires. People give me thumbs-up because the whistle is pretty loud, but I'm high-frequency deaf and can't really hear it. I also believe I'm topped out on the injectors now, even with an AirDog II 4G pump at 75psi. She pulls like a freight train and still accelerating at 110mph....
Thanks to the part number. I've used them before, great place for almost anything. The Viton o-rings are what Allliant uses in their kit, I'm sure they are more than sufficient. I'll put a thread up when I pull mine apart.
Was it difficult to tear the injectors apart? I've never done that.
