Roger that. Imagine my amazement when I watched the weather report tonight, and saw thunder bumpers, including walnut-size hail in the north & east bay.
Wow, sure been having some strange weather lately. Last two days have been excellent here. But it is predicted it will be back up to mid 90's by end of this week.
Strange weather indeed. Got cold and windy here last night. Actual temperature was ~~ 45°, but the wind chill on our weather station was ~~ 31°. I was surprised to hear the furnace kick on this morning.
Blew the spark plug on the passenger side on my wife's expedition. Anyone in N.Cali have the TimeCert repair tool or have experience with this repair? I assume the TimeCerts are still the direction to go?
No experience fixing the problem, but experience in being a victim.
Time-Sert or Lock-N-Stitch, if you can afford it. But honestly, even if you can afford the Lock-N-Stitch, the Time-Sert inserts will be just as effective.

Thanks Stewart,
I came across a thread from 2013 where you discuss one of the above types and didn't know if anything has changed. I will most likely have someone else do it this time. I will most likely do a tune up and replace the plugs as I am at 130K for my current ones. I will also be more diligent with my maintenance on those from now on.
I have read so much on the plug blowing on the v10 Excursion but never really cared because of my diesel EX. But duh, my wife's car has the V8 from 2003 I should have put 2 and 2 together.
Oh yeah! Right! The Dubs took it home last night. I recorded the game so I could go through it in about 30 minutes this morning. I play the game at 2X speed, and skip all the boring commercials and commentary. Interesting that I can boil a 3-1/2 hour slog into a 30 minute sprint.
