Thanks fbb1951. I like the stainless windshield trim, but it appears
the repro guys don't have anything but the plastic-in-groove type.
There is one for the '48 car at CA Early Ford, but it's 'Original, Inquire'
Mega bucks, I'm sure. Looks like it's Carlisle and a lot of walking...

I bought a good stainless trim piece on eBay last year. $50.00 I see them come up for sale now and then. The '51 F1 Panel Truck I am working on now was not a 5 Star, but I bought the trim and a windshield gasket to fit it. I won't try to do stainless on the vent windows. I'm planing to go to a one piece door glass. I will make a trim piece to finish off the door interior sides. Similar to the blue '51 F1 I restored a few years ago. The pics I posted above somewhere.

I just got the new lmc catalog the other day and they list a repro stainless windshield trim now. $130 is what they have it listed for.

Excellent, thanks Gicknordon, I never would have found it. Looks to be

If metal trim is not available I wonder if piping sewed around the outside edge is a viable solution ?

Ask me how I know.

Drivers side window regulator handle should point between 12 & 3 when rolled up . Passenger side window regulator handle should pint between 9 & 12 when rolled up .
