Ended up not needing to buy o-rings, KC included new ones. I've got tools and have a tendency to try and be cheap so I'll just tap the pedestal and plug it.

Nope, but I'd try them. Not dorman because dorman aren't stainless. I noticed awhile back there were some 'chrome' options as well. Not sure I'd try those...

I just ceramic coat the Dorman's and have had good luck (so far!). At least a few of the <$100 up-pipes on fleabay are dorman brand - some not even repackaged according to friends who ordered them. I've been paying ~$170 at autozone, thinking if I ever do have to use warranty it will be easier there than from online seller...
