Yeah, it was worth it to me, especially since I already had the cab lifted. But I'm not planning on doing it again!
Btw, I won' be working on it again until the last week of April cause I'm on vacation. Once I get back I have a few details to take care of, then it'll be swap time!!!
Wow, I’ve missed a lot of updates. She’s looking great. I had no idea what “gloving” was either. You obviously get a more rigid frame, but are there any other benefits? Do you strengthen the cross members too?
There are no other benefits that I know of other than the stouter frame. I didn't do anything to the cross members, other than paint and undercoat. The rails were the only thing I gloved. I have to say though, the truck just has a nice solid feel now. Not that it didn't before, but definitely more so with the gloved frame.

I did finally get the truck on some new rims and 35s. The wheels are procomp series 69 18x9, the tires are a set of mostly worn out 35 12.5 bfg all terrains that I picked up for $75 to get me through the summer.
