Leveling Pros/ cons recommendations

Me also. That's exactly what I was wanting to see.
Mothnuts, did you do the work yourself? Was there anything else involved other than loosening the U-bolt nuts and lifting the springs off of the spacers?

I learned a long time ago that if there was something that I was absolutely sure I wanted to modify on a vehicle to do it in the least evasive manner. If you can modify something without affecting any moving parts then in most cases that's the way to go. If you only want to level your truck, replacing the rear leaf spring spacers would be the way I would recommend. If you insist on lifting your truck then naturally a lift kit is the only way to accomplish that but be aware that you will be jacking with the front end alignment. In some cases it doesn't matter that much but when you remove bolts and nut to do what ever modification to pay particular attention to torque specifications. The reason I mention that is because it's one of the reason why some modifications can and does sometimes cause noises and malfunctions that you may not have had before the modification.

jack it up, put frame on stands
deload suspension with floor jack, loosen u bolts just enough to allow movement.
on the side you are going to remove first, drop the ubolts and ease the axle down, watching brake lines and wires/vent tubes
remove the block, blow/wipe off dirt/dust/gravel. put in new block, and preferably new ubolts, snug them and back off a bit, but do not tighten yet
repeat for other side
tighten bolts, preferably put weight of truck on axle for final torque
Im sure i missed something but typed this in a rush

Honestly, I never even checked around. I seen the part number on this forum and then went into my local dealer in town and ordered them. I think it was around $150 for the pair by the time I got out the door. I'm sure you could find them cheaper, but they were quick and easy. I did shop around on the shocks, and AutoAnything.com was the cheapest.

Also, looks like north Phx. to me, if so, same here but a little farther north. Who did the install? How much? I was quoted $300 to install by BDM in Tempe. Still waiting to hear back from On-Point in Phx. Thanks in advance, you can PM if you want.
