Kore Performance Leveling Kit

Anyone run one? I have a friend that had one one their Ram a few years ago. They were happy with the quality etc.

Not badly priced with Fox 2.0's.

I had two on two dodges back in 05 and 07 both with Bilstein 7100 series res shocks. They were high dollar but buttery soft kits. Only thing I have ridden in that is the same is the Carli kits. Kore was super flakey and then went out of biz. I started using Carli and between their great kits and Dan and the rest of the guys being awesome help I have no reason to go back. That being said they WERE solid before they went pear shaped. I beat those dodges up and put several hundred thousand miles on the KORE kits and they were always great.

Man i don't remember exactly what happened but I had a leaky shock (2010-2011) on my 2007 cummins and I found out from somebody they were done and I had to buy a new 7100 bilstein resi instread of them taking care of it. I'm pretty sure they wer out of biz but I've slept since then

Koerkin or whatever the owners name is really got into Baja and racing and just let the company go to ****. I called and asked about the same kit you're taking about. They answered the next day, was sort of helpful, but I don't have a lot of faith they'll be around long. Sounds like they are back on it, but who knows.

They only offer springs and shocks with cam spacers, about the same as the basic icon kit. It probably rides great, but when I asked about track bars he said no one runs em and they don't do anything for you. I peaced out after that.

This is even less reliable as it is a half memory but either Chris kroeker (Kroeker off road equipment...KORE) sold interest to Sage Carli or something like that. I do remember that it was a pita getting that shock dealt with. If Carli didn't exist (I'm very glad they do)I have half a mind to hang my shingle out there and sell these kits. The springs weather VR or linear are made by Deaver as are the mini packs and the full progressive leaf packs offered by both. The shocks are made by whoever makes them and I believe Carli private labels somebody else's track bar. So what you are selling is custom shock vslving and customer service. KORE has bad customer service mojo.

I did get a similar response when I emailed them also asking about the track bar. I figure I would just buy one for good measure.

We do not offer a track bar for the Fords. Your 2017 won’t need one as it is a pretty good part to begin with.

Guess I will go Carli since I work in Corona and they are right there. Figure I would ask about KORE.

Revive this old thread

Okay fellas- I'm a little late for dinner. My 2017 has been beating my **** up for far too long. I installed a Carli 2.5 Pintop w/full Deaver spring pack on my 2011 F350 (SOLD), I just couldn't squeeze the lime (or lemons, oranges, etc.) hard enough to pony up the extra cash for another Carli system. Not that I don't long for their quality...

I still see Kore is in business which got me thinking again. That usually for me translates into spending money. I poured over so much literature; enough to make me hate this forum and enough to drive my wife to damn near divorce-- ENOUGH! For better or worse, I went with the Kore system. I have yet to install, but will be doing so in about a week. I'll try to post some pics of the work as it transpires.

So why Kore (aside from cost)? My old truck with Carli 4-inch 2.5 Pintops sat as tall as my 2017 in stock form. The Carli coils were progressive rate and I sure liked the ride quality. Interestingly enough, the Carli leveling kit's coils are linear rate. Bump compliance questions riddled through my mind, but so did the difference in shocks each system uses. The 2.5 Pintop turned my 2011 6K+ pound F350 into a legit corner carving "race truck" with insane pot-hole/speed bump compliance. I read over 100+ reviews on Kore's site and even knew a guy- who I called for a first hand opinion. Based on my reviews (all sources), I decided to go with the Kore system. I'm not looking for a "leveling" kit, but rather a ride improvement kit, and like the progressive coils on the Kore system. I already have a set of longer SS braided brake lines for the front, so I had no additional expense there.

Will they have identical bump compliance I knew and loved on my 2011? Will the 2.0 Fox shocks be capable and resistant to fading? Time will tell.

I also am not a fan of "drop down brackets" but decided to try to keep geometry in check with the Readylift track bar drop bracket P/N# 67-2538. I'm still looking at Carli's track bar, but it doesn't offer true "on the vehicle" adjustability. Now Readylift has it's own replacement track bar, P/N# 77-2004. It offers "on vehicle" tuning and is about $100 cheaper than Carli's. Not sure where I'll send up here. If there were ever one thing I learned years ago with my 2011- track bar tightness/torque is imperative and IMO, is the #1 reason people develop DW in these late model super duties.

I'm not biased as I'm trying to let the evidence speak over persons opinions. We shall see how my decisions fare here real soon. In closing, I'm just keeping things simple in the rat race of opinionated persons. I'll share my thoughts on this system as the facts are laid out. Like some of you, I've owned Carli & now Kore. One thing I haven't read is any real reviews on this forum about the Kore leveling kit or the new Ready Lift track bar. If any of you have any info or know of a post I overlooked- please let me know.

Until it's time for wrench turning- keep it real and civil! I'll chime in when to tools stop flying..

the pintop kits are also more aggressively valved because well its for more aggressive offroad driving. IIRC Carli states their commuter/backcountry kits will ride softest on the street due to shock valving.

anything is better then OEM, even my ICON used kit i found on craigslist lol
