So I've been trying to make these brake lights, turn signals and reverse lights work with no success in my 72 f100. No matter what I've tried i cant make them work. What i have successfully ruled out is everything from the 4 pin connector on the fire wall back. When i put 12v to the pins in the connector the brake lights, backup lights and running lights work on their respective pins. Last I checked i also have power at both sides of all fuses in the whole block when the key is on. If anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated. Im totally at a loss as to what to do at this point. Thanks in advance
Do the tail lights work when you turn on the headlights? If they do, I would say you may have a switch issue. Have you checked to see if the brake light switch (by the pedal ) works? Same thing with the back-up switch? What about the connection at the bottom of the steering colum where the wires come out from the turn signal switch? Let us know.
I'm assuming you're referencing my running, lights in the rear. Those do work when I turn on the headlights just no brakes, reverse or turn signals. Also my brake switch opens and closes but I dont seem to have a stable 12v at the plug?

1968/72 F100/350: Brake light switch is adjustable, threads into a metal retainer (C8TZ-13A629-A) that clips into the hole in the pedal.
Some/all of the retainer clips snap off (somewhat common), the switch can no longer be adjusted properly, as the retainer is either dangling by a clip or two, or is no longer connected to the pedal.
1967/72 F100/350:
3 M/T backup lamp switch located on the steering column adjacent to the 1st/reverse selector lever.
4 M/T backup lamp switch threads into the shift tower.
No backup lamp switch with A/T .. Backup lamps controlled by the NSS
