bed side toolbox

My long bed 66 has the toolbox door but that's all does anyone know if the 73 f250 box can be adapted and is the lock similar

1964/66 bedside tool box latch is different than 1967/79 bedside toolbox latch.

You cannot use a complete 1967/72 or 1973/79 toolbox on a 1964/66, because they're all a different shape to match the left quarter panel.

I have been looking side tool boxes everytime I go to pick a part, and of the last year or so the truck they come on are getting rarer.

If you in the LA area try adelanto pick a part. They have a better classic section, but I have not been in awhile.

i have a nice one that needs a latch part, the handle flops loose. can be opened very gently with a screw driver or punch to activate latch. lwb 66 not gonna use it been trying to sell it.
