I went junken yesterday and came across a 79 long bed with the tool box on the side, it's not to bad of shape it has a few tin worms and it also has the race track trim. I don't need the bed side because my 78 crew cab has dual wheels and I'm looking for a rollback bed. How hard are the tool box bed sides to find, do I need to go back and get it just to have for myself or someone else. You never know when you might need it. What price should be paid for this?
I dont know if I would say that they are rare... But when you want one they are allways hard to find.. When ever I come across something I might be able to use on another project down the road... I pick it up... mind you ... if the price is right...
Ive had a parts truck with the tool box bed... And The truck Im redoing now has the tool box bed... I didnt need two beds... So I just salvaged the bedside off the other bed(most of the parts truck bed was rotten) and put it into storage if I happen to need it later...
