There is only one part number and I gave it to you in post #7: EOTZ-17260-D however...
The 2nd digit of the prefix was originally a zero, but most parts guys pronounced it as the letter O (owe), so Ford later changed it.
I thought the second digit was always a number as the first digit is the decade (i.e 1980) and the second digit was for the specific year in that decade.
I assumed it was the customer that was mistaking "0" for "O". Whenever I search for a part (i.e. PartsVoice or such) I always enter the part twice, once with a O and then again with a 0.

1960/70: The 2nd digit was a zero. 1980 2nd digit was originally a zero but Ford later changed it to the letter O. 1990 is the letter O.
Type a number into partsvoice.com or rearcounter.com with the 2nd digit as an O and see how many parts you'll find. Then type it with a zero. You'll find more O's than 0's.
Carpenter's parts usually have the zero. But Green Sales and many others use the letter O.
And Carpenter goofed, all the parts that have the letter O as the 3rd digit of the prefix (Fairlane/Torino/LTD II), DC used a zero instead.
I called DC and spoke with someone I know there (Tom, ex-Ford parts guy that waits on customers). Carpenter is aware, but Tom said he doubts they'll fix it.
Bill got the cable today, but was wondering if it works with automatic tranny? In great shape, but I was curioous about that. Guess I'll find out when I go home later
Seems that cable works for both standard and auto transmissions. Thanks Bill.. speedo fixed
