Anybody ordered a truck/car/suv from here? I had two friends who did at work and really liked it. I am considering buying a new truck from there, and the thought of not having to go to a dealer appeals to me. Prices look really low also. Anybody have advice?

Use best pricing of carsdirect to guage how much a dealer is willing to sell you a new truck. I told the dealers that called me back what price I was willing to pay based on carsdirect pricing.
One dealer found "more" truck than I planned for but charged same price as carsdircet wanted for their itemized options. I had no problems w/ my dealer and the price was right. I would recommend carsdirect as a first step.

I plan to purchase a F-250 soon. I have been speaking to someone at CarsDirect for about a week now. (I kept changing my options thanks to this site)
This afternoon they quoted me a price $175 over invoice for a 2004 orderd truck.
They will be e-mailing it to me tomorrow. When I get it I plan to go to a nearby dealer just to see what they say. If I do stay w/CarsDirect I would pick it up from another FORD dealer anyway.

If you buy it from the dealer rather than cars direct (even if it is delivered thru a dealer) it is better. The dealer treats you as his customer and is more willing to take care of minor problems etc.

I used carsdirects low price to negotiate a price of 100 over invoice from my dealer for the new 2004 f150. if he hadn't beat the price I would have waited for carsdirect to start offering the new 2004 f150 on its sight. and the dealer needs to know this and he will beat the price if he wants the sale. I am happy with the deal I negotiated. and I have a local dealership to take care of my needs if some should arise.
