OBDLink MX Bluetooth

I bought one of these a while ago.
Do you guys leave it plugged in permanently into the OBD-II port?
Is there any downside (battery drain etc)?

I asked this same question when I bought the same adapter. Everyone told me no issues, so I've been leaving mine plugged in. After a couple of weeks, no issues.

Does it stick out below the dash when plugged in, is there any fear of kicking, or knocking your knee on it getting in and out of the truck? I had a Banks system that stayed plugged in on my old truck and I had to unbolt the OBD connector and zip tie it back so I stopped bumping it, but that was a Ram and I'm not even sure where the OBD connector is in the new truck yet.

No danger of kicking it out. Its pretty small. The OBD plug is in the usual location under the steering column panel just above the pedals, offset towards the left side.
