Where is OBD-II Port on my 2001 Escape?

Hello. I recently asked about my Escape hunting in and out of converter lockup. It started this after having my processor reflashed at the dealer for an unrelated recall problem. Where is the port located to plug in a diagnostic tester? I can't find it. Thank you in advance for your help.

Pretty sure it's up under the steering wheel.

Left side of steering column, next to the dash.

Found it! To the right of the steering column tucked up next to the hood release lever. Thank you all who responded. Now I will try to figure out why the "check engine" light came on this week.
